San Diego High School Senior Portraits at Hotel Del Coronado

Thursday evening I met with Brittany at the Hotel Del Coronado to shoot her Class of 2010 HS Senior Portraits. Brittany was super easy to work with and we had a great time shooting her photos!

Balboa Park Family Photography

Thursday afternoon I met again with the Hernandez family for some beautiful family photos at Balboa Park. Probably my favorite place to shoot in all of San Diego, Balboa Park offers such a wide variety of beautiful shooting locations in a relatively small area.

We had a very warm, sunny, beautiful afternoon for photos. Here is a small sample of some of the beautiful family photos that we shot yesterday at Balboa Park:

Modeling Photography at Kansas University

Last week I had some work to do in Lawrence, KS and I was able to set up a couple of modeling photo shoots on the beautiful Kansas University campus.

Elizabeth and Sarita were both easy and fun to work with, and we got some amazing photos! Here is a small sample of what we were able to capture:

Balboa Park Engagement Photography

Today I met with Mark and Stella at Balboa Park for some gorgeous engagement photos. I shoot a lot of beach photos but honestly Balboa Park is my favorite place to shoot. It's really a Photographer's dream for shooting portraits like these.

We were treated to a picture perfect day - temps in the upper 70's with just a slight breeze (perfect convertible weather I might add, ahem).

Anyway, here are a few favorites from today's engagement photo shoot at Balboa Park. Congratulations to the happy couple!

San Diego Newborn Twins Photography

Ahhhhhhhhhh, twins! One of life's little miracles. There's just something magical about newborn twins. Of course photographing them is a whole other adventure...actually easier than photographing one newborn in some respects - when one baby is cranky, you can just photograph the other one....and because they are usually born prematurely, the babies are younger when Mommy & Daddy bring them in. So they are smaller, more moldable and much more sleepy than a 2 week old full-term baby.

I may actually post two blog preview from this session, since there are two babies....But enough chit chat, here is the first installment of previews from yesterday's newborn twins photo shoot:

Friday evening I met with the Mongomerys to shoot their maternity photos at Coronado Beach. We had a great evening, beautiful sunset and an empty beach (so nice shooting there this time of year).

Tonight I met with Barbara and Henry at Balboa Park to photograph them with their German Shorthair, Nittany. We had a perfectly overcast but bright afternoon - awesome lighting for outdoor portrait photography at Balboa Park fer sure!

We spent some time shooting at several different locations, and got some beautiful photos of the family. Here are a few early favorites:

Tonight I had a ball photographing the Russell family at our San Diego studio. Grandparents, Mommy, Daddy, nearly two year old Son and three month old Daughter (the star of the show).

Daddy is in the military, so we got some great military themed baby photos. =)
